Overview 

The GVE Artifact System is the core system of Faction Wars in Essence Crusader GVE! These are 6 special ancient relics scattered across the map, corresponding to the 6 main base stats (STR-DEX-CON-MEN-INT-WIT). Fire ? and Water ? factions must capture and defend these Artifacts to receive powerful faction-wide buffs!

? STR Artifact (Strength)

⚔️ Warrior's Monument:

  • Base Stat: STR (Strength)
  • Faction Buff: +STR for all faction members
  • Effects: Increases physical damage, carry weight, melee power
  • Location: Main combat zone
  • Importance: Critical for warrior classes and melee fighters
? DEX Artifact (Dexterity)

? Archer's Shrine:

  • Base Stat: DEX (Dexterity)
  • Faction Buff: +DEX for all faction members
  • Effects: Increases accuracy, critical rate, attack speed, evasion
  • Location: High mountain forest area
  • Importance: Essential for archer classes and dagger users

? Ownership Limits:

  • Maximum per faction: Each faction can control up to 3 artifacts at a time
  • Balanced competition: Ensures balance between Fire and Water factions
  • Strategic choice: Factions must prioritize the 3 most important artifacts
  • Dynamic shifts: Ownership changes frequently based on battle outcomes
Artifact Status Types

? Control Status:

  • Fire Controlled ?: Owned by Fire faction, buffs all Fire members
  • Water Controlled ?: Owned by Water faction, buffs all Water members
  • Neutral ⚪: Not controlled by any faction, no buffs applied
  • Under Protection ?️: Recently captured, cannot be recaptured immediately
  • Under Attack ⚔️: Currently being captured
  • Defended Successfully ?: Successfully defended
? How to Capture an Artifact 
Capture Conditions

Requirements:

  • Faction membership: Must belong to Fire ? or Water ? faction
  • Non-owned: Artifact must not be controlled by your faction
  • Ownership limit: Your faction must not already control 3 artifacts
  • Not protected: Artifact must not be in Protection status

Common Error Messages:

  • "Your faction has already captured the maximum number of Artifacts (3)"
  • "This Artifact is currently under protection"
  • "You cannot capture your own faction's Artifact"
? Capture Process

? Steps:

  1. Approach Artifact: Get close to the artifact's location
  2. Use Skill: Activate the special "Take Artifact" skill
  3. Channel Time: Remain stationary without interruption during the process
  4. Completion: If successful, the artifact transfers to your faction

⚠️ Important Notes:

  • No movement: Any movement cancels the capture
  • No attacks: Being attacked interrupts the process
  • Server-wide notifications: Progress updates every minute

?️ Protection Time:

After a successful capture, the artifact is protected for 5-10 minutes

? Guard Structure

? Leader (Keeper):

  • Position: Stands to the left of the artifact
  • Strength: Strongest among the guards
  • Role: Commands and coordinates attacks
  • Name: Fire/Water/Neutral Keeper

⚔️ Regular Guards:

  • Position: Surround the artifact in a square formation
  • Number: Multiple guards protect simultaneously
  • Coordination: Attack together when enemies are detected
  • Name: Fire Guard, Water Guard, Neutral Guard
? Detection Mechanism

? Detection Range:

  • Distance: 1000 range from guard position
  • Automatic: Detects enemies from the opposing faction
  • Instant Alert: Other guards in range join the fight
  • Notification: "You have been detected by an enemy guard near the Artifact!"

⚔️ Attack Behavior:

  • Immediate Attack: Attacks without warning
  • Group Coordination: All guards focus on the target
  • Limited Chase: Pursues only within a limited range
  • Return to Post: Automatically returns to original position
? Respawn & Recovery

⏱️ Guard Respawn:

  • Respawn Time: 1-2 minutes after being defeated
  • Automatic Respawn: No manual intervention required
  • Full Stats: Restores 100% HP/MP upon respawn
  • Fixed Position: Always returns to original position

  • Fire: "I am a loyal guard of the Fire faction, protecting this Artifact with my life!"
  • Water: "I am a proud guard of the Water faction, defending this Artifact with honor!"
  • Neutral: "I am a neutral guard, protecting this Artifact."
? Rewards for Capturing Artifacts

? Upon Successful Capture:

  • Personal Points: 100 points for the capturer
  • Reward Range: All faction members within 200 range
  • Items: L-Coin, Adena, and special items
  • Base Stat Buff: +STR/DEX/CON/MEN/INT/WIT depending on the artifact

? From Faction War Manager:

  • Wider Range: Faction members within 2000 range
  • Additional Points: +50 personal points
  • Faction Points: Points for the entire faction in Faction War
? Faction Rewards 

? For the Capturing Faction:

  • Faction Points: +50 points for successful capture
  • Base Stat Bonus: Buff applied to ALL faction members
  • Special Skills: Unlocks faction skills (if applicable)

? For the Captured Faction:

  • Point Loss: Deduction of faction points
  • Buff Loss: Loss of base stat bonus from this artifact

? When Artifact is Attacked:

  • Automatic Activation: Defend Zone with 200 range radius
  • Faction-Only Access: Only members of the controlling faction can enter
  • Visual Indicator: Clearly displayed on the map

? Defense Rewards:

  • Periodic Points: 10 personal points every few minutes
  • L-Coin: Periodic L-Coin rewards
  • Major Reward: 50 L-Coin for defending for 60 minutes

Conditions:

  • Time: Successfully defend for 60 minutes
  • No Capture: Artifact remains under faction control
  • Presence: Faction members present in the defend zone
