Overview

The GVE Faction System is a unique community PvP feature that allows players to join the eternal war between two factions: the Fire Faction and the Water Faction. This is the heart of Essence Crusader GvE 388, where players can engage in epic battles to seize control of 24+ Outposts scattered across the world and earn exciting rewards.

? How to Join a Faction 

• Players can choose to join either faction upon logging into the game.
• The Auto Balance system limits faction membership to ensure balance (max ~70% in one faction per Zone).
• Once a faction is chosen, you become allies with all members of the same faction.
• The Community Board (Alt+B) provides all GVE-related information.
• The Friendly Fire Protection system prevents attacks on faction allies.

? Outpost Combat Mechanics 

• Outpost Guard: Each Outpost is defended by intelligent guards (Archer, Mage, Warrior).
• Attack System: You can only attack Outposts controlled by the opposing faction.
• Server Alert: Server-wide notifications when an Outpost is under attack or low on health.
• Capture: Successfully destroying an Outpost transfers ownership to your faction.
• Protection: 5-minute protection period after capture, during which it cannot be attacked again.
• Auto Respawn: Outposts automatically respawn after being destroyed.

• Adena: Large rewards for players who deal the final blow to an Outpost.
• L-Coin: All faction members in the Zone receive rewards when capturing/holding an Outpost.
• Personal Points: Accumulated based on time spent in the Zone.

• Used to learn Faction War Skills via the Community Board.
• Costs range from 18–289 points depending on skill level.
• Points reset and accumulate continuously through activities.

• Level 1: +10% damage vs. monsters → Level 7: +80% damage vs. monsters
